Getting Started

If you are a Chatrena user, the quickest way to get started is to sign up via your Chatrena API. However, you must first create a chatbot.

Sign up via Chatrena API

On Chatrena

1. Click on your profile icon (top right) to bring up the profile menu. Then access the "API Keys" menu"

1. Enter your desire token name. E.g. Chatrena. Select 'Assign All Abilities'. Your main workspace should automatically be selected. Choose the a chatbot to connect to.

1. Copy the API key

1. Head back to the home page and click on BookAppt in the dashboard menu bar

1. Click 'Sign Up'. If you need a passkey, please look for a Pencil Labs staff.

2. Do not fill in the form. Instead, click on API Sign Up at the bottom of the form.

1. Remember the API key you copied in step 3? Paste it into this box.

2. An email will be sent to your inbox (owner of the Chatrena workspace).

How to check if I am the owner of the Chatrena workspace?

On the Chatrena home page,

1. Click on 'Workspace Settings' in the dashboard menu bar

2. Click on 'Members' tab

The email should look like this.

1. Click "Verify Your Email". It will open up the BookAppt login page. Do not do anything on this page.

2. Go back to the BookAppt page on Chatrena (see step 4).

3. Login with your email and the password provided in the email.
